Wanting the best for our children, we struggled to find quality clothes made from 100% natural merino wool that were stylish and soft, yet hard-wearing too – and this was in a country producing some of the finest wool in the world! We wanted to create amazing clothes for our children and knew that other parents would want the same.

Our children provided the challenge: to find a 100% merino fabric that was silky, soft and comfortable and would wear brilliantly on a busy child, day after day. We ‘road tested’ potential merino samples on our children and in the roughest washing machines to ensure the merino fabric would stay looking like new after every wash. We found the best New Zealand merino wool for children to live in, and Zee Zee Merino was launched for children aged 3–10 years, with Little Zee Merino born soon after to cater for our smallest customers, aged 0–2 years. We continually develop Zee Zee Merino clothing to ensure it’s the best merino clothing you will find for children.

Zee Zee Merino is not just about children’s clothes and well-being. For us it is about creating a natural product that is sustainably produced and ethically sound, and also importantly about family and helping others. We are committed to all Zee Zee Merino clothing being 100% sourced and manufactured in New Zealand, and we donate a percentage of our profits to organisations helping families in need in the community.
